In our endeavour to highlight the important topic of concern, we at Visnav would be publishing a book entitled, “Environmental Change and Public Health”.
This book Environmental Change and Public Health will highlight key issues of Climate change, Toxicology, Bioremediation, Infectious Disease, Food Security, and Pollution.
Intellects are invited from various fields to contribute their scientific writing in the form of chapters in any of the above mentioned key issues. Detailed general guidelines and submission guidelines are mentioned below.
General instruction
- The author must stick to the scope of the book.
- The book will be published with ISBN, barcode and article identifier.
- The book will be published on our website and e copies of book will be provided to all the authors will free publication e-certificate.
- Hardcopy of the books can be provided to authors on doorstep if demanded.
- The charges for e-print and hardcopy will be applicable. No extra taxes or delivery charges will be asked.
- The author can submit more than one chapter (multiple enteries are allowed).
- The chapter will be reviewed by our editorial team followed by proofreading, editing, correction (by editor as well as by the author for any major changes), plagiarism check and grammatical errors by our team.
- The team can suggest, modify (alterations or deletions) and rearrange the content in the typescript as they deem desirable and necessary.
- Royalty of 20% that will be distributed amongst all the authors after sales of the hard copy of the book.
- The author(s) shall compile and supply the matters for publication and here by grant(s) to the publishers the full and exclusive right on the terms specified, to print, Publish, and sell the work and all subsequent revision and adaptations thereof though out world Trade, reprint and other editions.
- Visnav right to print and published the work in Paper Back with ISBN and to reprint or publish
- Visnav own copyright of author(s) and having right to renewals for next edition after four years of first edition.
- Visnav and Author(s) or both have the control for branding & promoting the book (on- line, off-line, Cataloguing, specimen /sample copy distribution).
Original work
- Authors must ensure that the piece of knowledge submitted for publication is an original work.
- The chapter can be inspired from previously published articles but should not contain any duplication.
- The chapter must focus on the objective of the book, no misleading or falsification should be done.
- Any content used from previously published work for result representation must be cited properly in the study.
- The work must have not been published anywhere earlier and even is not considered for publication anywhere else.
Authorship
- Authors must carefully consider the list and order of authors before submitting their chapter.
- There is no limitation for authorship but must assigned to significant contributors of the work.
- The Author must mention the names of all genuine authors and co-authors of the chapter.
- All the conversation and changes must be done by only one author.
- Any addition, deletion, or rearrangement of author names in the authorship list should be made only before the book’s publication.
- In the case of addition or removal of authors, this includes confirmation from the author being added or removed.
Keypoints
- While writing the chapter, only most important citations and references, should be done in appropriate way.
- Inclusive language should be used as it conveys respect to all people, is sensitive to differences, and promotes equal opportunities.
- Content should not be biased toward any beliefs/commitments, community, race, people, and system.
- Authors should ensure that writing should be free from stereotypes, slang, reference to the dominant culture, and/or cultural assumptions. Rather use plural nouns (“clinicians, patients/clients”) as default/wherever possible to avoid using “he, she,” or “he/she.”
- Use alternative words to avoid offensive or exclusionary terms for more appropriate and (self-) explanatory words.
- Responsibility
- The chapter submitted by the author must showcase novelty in the thoughts and content of the work presented.
- The chapter should be properly written with correct grammar and spelling checks must be done.
- No plagiarized content is allowed, as Visnav follows strict plagiarism rules. If found, the article will be directly subjected to rejection.
- Visnav strictly prohibits any deceptive, unethical practice or knowingly infringing on the standards.
- The original manuscripts should be uploaded with all the details through Submit Manuscript Authors are requested to pay Publication fees only after acceptance of their chapter for publication.

- Instructions for preparation and submission of typescript:
- Transcript should be sufficient enough to qualify itself as a chapter in our book. Chapter length should be a minimum of 8000 words.
- Plagiarised transcripts will be rejected immediately.
- Important images or tables can be published provided you have the rights. If the images or tables are reproduced from any other source, permission from the publisher/author is necessary.
- Important references should be mentioned at the end.

- The typescript must have font style Cambria, font size 12 with line spacing – 1.5
- Any mistake in the format will be considered final and judged accordingly.
- We follow APA style of referencing, so kindly read the reference thoroughly and write accordingly.
References
- Reference should be cited the end of the manuscript in the order of their appearance in the text. For citation of references with more than six authors, only the first author’s name followed by et al. should be used.
- References of journal articles, books, chapters in book etc. should be cited as follows:
Journal articles:
Last name of authors followed by first name initials year of publication in brackets, title of research, comma, journal name in italics; volume in bold and issue in bold, italics: page numbers.

When citing a website, the basic structure is as follows:
Author surname, initial(s). (Year, month day). Title. Retrieved from URL.

Tables
Each table should be given on a separate page. Each table should have a short, descriptive title and numbered in the order cited in the text. Only MS word table format should be used for preparing tables.
Figures
Graphs and bar graphs should preferably be prepared using Microsoft excel and submitted as Excel graph pasted on word. Photos or drawings must have a good contrast of dark and light. Legends of figures should be brief, but complete and self-explanatory.
Abbreviations
Define abbreviations that are not standard in this field in a footnote to be placed on the first page of the article. Such abbreviations that are unavoidable in the abstract must be defined at their first mention there, as well as in the footnote. Ensure consistency of abbreviations throughout the article.
Submission of Chapter
- The author must fill all the columns provided with correct information, any misleading or half-filled form will be subjected to rejection.
- The copyright form must be downloaded from the website and filled out properly.
- Authentic signature/e-signature (not just name) of all the authors must be done on the form without any failure.
- If the author finds any difficulty while submitting the chapter (technical issue). The author can send the Chapter and Copywrite form to the Editor via email at editor.visnav@gmail.com, with the subject written, “Submission of a book chapter on Environmental Change and Public Health”.
