Banaras Hindu niversity (BHU)
Banaras Hindu University (BHU) was founded by Mahamana Pt Madan Mohan Malviya in the year 1916 and is situated in the most spiritual place in India, Varanasi. The area of the main campus is 1300 acres, with well-maintained roads, extensive greenery, a temple, an airstrip, and buildings that are an architectural delight. Apart from the main campus, its subsidiary campus is found in the Mirzapur district, covering an area of 2700 acres.
BHU offers more than 10 UG courses, 20 PG courses, and various diploma courses with specializations in arts, commerce, and science faculties.
Admission to BHU is based on exams like UET, NEET, JEE Main, CUET PG, GATE JAM, and CAT. For the popular courses, the BHU fee structure starts from 500 INR to 3 lakhs depending on the course opted.
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU)
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is one of India’s top-ranked universities for undergraduate, postgraduate, and research studies. JNU is ranked 2nd among the top universities in India and has 13 schools, 55 centers, and seven special centers. JNU is offering over 100 courses at the UG, PG, and Doctoral levels. The courses are offered in the fields of Arts, Science, Computer Applications, Medical, Engineering, Law, Mass Communication, and Management. Additionally, JNU offers Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas, and Certificate courses in various languages.
Admission to the UG and PG courses will be done through Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The last date to apply for UG and CoP programs through CUET UG is March 12, 2023. The minimum fee for the courses is 1300 INR to 6lakhs depending upon the course.
University of Hyderabad
The University of Hyderabad is a central university established in the year 1974 and has been approved by UGC and accredited by NAAC. Hyderabad University provides graduate, postgraduate and doctorate-level courses across different streams of arts, engineering, management, science, technology, commerce, etc. Admissions to these courses are based on written tests and entrance exams.
Admission to the University of Hyderabad is granted only on the basis of CUET Scores for all types of degrees. Interested Candidates can apply online on the official website by 12 March 2023. CUET UG 2023 exam will be conducted between May 21 and May 31, 2023.
Jamia Millia University
Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is a central university located in New Delhi and established in 1920. The university is recognized by the UGC and accredited with an ‘A’ grade by the NAAC. Jamia Millia Islamia is ranked 3rd among the top universities in India and has several research centers including the Center for Management Studies, the Nelson Mandela Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution, and the AJK Mass Communication Research Center.
Jamia Millia Islamia offers more than 200 programs at the UG, PG, and Research levels with various disciplines such as engineering, humanities, law, management, education, science, etc. Jamia Millia Islamia also offers distance learning degrees and diploma programs for defense personnel through its Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE). Admissions at Jamia Millia Islamia are based on the entrance exam conducted by the university and also accept other national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, NATA, CUET, and NEET, etc.
Delhi University
The University of Delhi (DU) is ranked 13th among the top universities in India by NIRF 2022 ranking. Delhi University offers over 500 programs, out of which 209 programs have been considered for NAAC accreditation. DU has two campuses, namely, North Campus and South Campus with an about total strength of more than 7 lakh students and has 90 affiliated colleges along with 86 departments, 23 Centres, 16 faculties, and five other institutes.
At present, it offers UG, PG, certificate, Diploma, and PG diploma programs. DU admission 2023 to all UG and PG courses will be based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Apart from regular full-time courses, Delhi University offers distance learning programs.
