Student Research Program 2025 at KAUST, Saudi Arabia 

Kind Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) offers a Visiting Student Research Program (VSRP) for UG and PG students in Saudi Arabia. Students in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) can choose the research topic provided by the institute with over 100 faculty-led projects, that align with their interests. This is a fully-funded 3-6 months internship program that covers tuition fees, housing, and return flights, and provides a monthly stipend for living expenses. the duration of the internship is made flexible for the students to choose the date of their work. This year-round flexibility helps create an international community of interns from top universities. The students can get exposure to hands-on techniques in research or co-op experience, and many interns find it excellent preparation for future graduate studies.

    Eligibility:

    • The Internship is open to applicants from all around the world.
    • Undergraduate Students must be in their third year of a Bachelor’s Degree program.
    • Graduate Students must be enrolled in a Master’s Degree program.
    • Minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0 or 14/20 (ECTS B).
    • English Proficiency:

      • TOEFL IBT score of 79 or higher.
      • IELTS score of 6.5 or higher.
