Interactive program for upcoming startup-Cornell Maha 60 Accelerator

Cornell Maha 60 is a year-long accelerator program offered by Cornell University in partnership with the Department of Industries of Maharashtra. The incubation centre will be set up to train 60 entrepreneurs and build the next set of leaders spearheading Maharashtra’s meteoric growth. Cornell Maha 60 is a part-time, rigorous year-long engagement with 30 classroom sessions, 10 online sessions, 12 coaching sessions. The program focuses on empowering marginalized entrepreneurs by training them in functional business skills, teaching them the growth mindset, and providing them with a platform to network with Angel Investors and be mentored by industry experts. The program will help in gaining Globally recognized, Breadth and depth of expertise across subjects, Expertise in developing capabilities in leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship taught by Professors from Cornell and award-winning global faculty, Select access to VC’s and Angel Investors, Mentored by industry experts and international coaches, Access to Govt. Maharashtra’s machinery of fundraising and captive customers, Rent-free infrastructure with Internet and all facilities to co-work and collaborate with like-minded entrepreneurs, Cornell Certificate awarded for successful completion.

Eligibility:

Candidate must be:

  • A domicile of Maharashtra, India
  • Graduates in any field from a recognized university or equivalent
  • Existing entrepreneur with 1-year minimum experience running a startup/business
  • The Business Accelerator Programme also encourages women applicants and applications from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribe
  • The application criteria can be waived at the sole discretion of the selection committee chaired by the Honorable Development Commissioner, Department of Industrie.
