National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI) is hiring for research positions. This is NABI’s flagship program, which is funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. There are two projects, project 1 for a senior research fellowship and project 2 for project fellow. The topic of project 1 is “High-resolution QTL mapping for iron (Fe), zinc (Zn), grain protein, and phytate content and their introgression in high yielding wheat cultivars”. The topic for project 2 is “Development of nanomaterials based biosensors for the detection of pesticides and food contaminants”. Check the Official notification for more details. Postgraduate degree in Basic Science Or Graduate/Post Graduate in the professional course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
- Scholars are selected through National Eligibility Tests-CSIR UGC NET including.
- Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
- 32 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC/PD and women candidates as per GOI instructions) for project 1
- 28 Years as of the date of interview. (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC/PD as per GOI Instructions) for project 2
